Anglers fishing Las Salinas and Hatiguanico River, both located within Zapata Peninsula in the Cuban province of Matanzas, stay at Hotel Playa Larga on the shores of infamous Bahia de Cochinos (Bay of Pigs). Accommodations are spartan, but clean, comfortable and private.
Dinning will take place at the local restaurants in town run by the villagers called paladars, minutes from the hotel, these small restaurants operated from private homes, offer superb local cuisine, family style, in a clean and friendly environment.
On fishing days, boat lunches are provided. Fishing licenses and daily ground transfers are also included.
